Science at Our Lady's Catholic College
Year 4 have had a really busy and interesting day today.
It started off this morning with a visitor from Global Renewables in Leyland. Irene came to speak to the children about recycling and also to tell them about their visit there next week.
Then, this afternoon, we walked over to Our Lady's Catholic College to do some work in one of their science labs. The children used lots of interesting equipment to investigate how quickly Olaf from Frozen could be melted! They learnt all about the freezing, melting and boiling points of water and what happens to particles when heat energy is added.
A huge thank you to Mrs Bates, the science staff and the Sixth Form students, that planned and deivered such a great afternoon for us.
