A Captivating Castle

More model making from Year 4 who are working really hard on their home learning projects. Today, I have seen a castle that is decorated with spent matches! The detail was fantastic with turrets, drawbridges and casements. Well done!

Lovely Lists

After their visit to Dalton Zoo on Friday, Reception have been writing lists of ingredients that they would like to feed the animals. The girls have shown good pencil grip and are beginning to recognise the letters that they need to match the sounds of the words. Well done girls!

Quality Question Marks!

An Enthusiastic Egyptologyst

Another visit today from someone who has produced a fantastic piece of writing. Research into the pyramids of Ancient Egypt has led to a well presented non-chronological report using sub-headings and paragraphs in adition to well composed, correctly punctuated sentences. Well done!

This afternoon, Father Andrew led our class in Prayer and Liturgy. We reflected upon the message that the Angel Gabriel gave to Mary; that she would be the mother of Jesus. We recognised that the 'Hail Mary' prayer reminds us of this important event.
