Year 3/4 Visit to White Scar Caves

Year 3 and 4 enjoyed their visit to White Scar Caves today. We saw some amazing rock formation features, including some glowing stalactites in a huge underground cavern and some of us got more than a little wet walking beside an underground waterfall. It certainly was an experience to remember.

Fizzy and Minty!

Our class did the Coke and Mentos experiment. It was great fun! We put mentos into a bottle of Diet Coke and watched the bubbles shoot out. Mrs Lowe had to run away very fast! Then we came back to class and found out how it worked.
