Year 3 and 4 enjoyed their visit to White Scar Caves today. We saw some amazing rock formation features, including some glowing stalactites in a huge underground cavern and some of us got more than a little wet walking beside an underground waterfall. It certainly was an experience to remember.
More model making from Year 4 who are working really hard on their home learning projects. Today, I have seen a castle that is decorated with spent matches! The detail was fantastic with turrets, drawbridges and casements. Well done!

Year 4 had a wonderful visit to Lancaster Castle today. We learnt lots of interesting history about how the castle has been used over the last 900 years and even experienced being locked in the 'dungeons'.
Year 4 have been working so hard since coming back in September. We wrote some character descriptions about a giant which we will use in our traditional story writing.
