Bring Me Sunshine!

On Thursday, Year 5 spent the day in Morecambe. We were very lucky as the weather was fine and sunny all day. We had a great time and carried out a land use survey on Morecambe promenade, as well as making sketches of the Winter Gardens and the Clock Tower. After lunch at Morecambe Library, we went down onto the beach and built sand sculptures, including a mermaid that looked like Mrs Lowe! We called it Merlowe and put Mrs Lowe next to it so we could compare the two. The we got the coach home. Some of our class had never been on the beach before and lots of us had never eaten rock before. We will remember the trip for a long time.
