We have learnt how to look after our fabulous bodies this week. Today we were investigating what our bodies can do and how to keep them healthy.
We set the timer for one minute and investigated how many star jumps we could do in one minute. Some of us found star jumps tricky and we realised that doing them for one minute made our heart beat faster and caused us to puff and pant to try and get more air into our lungs.
We learnt that exercise is an important part of keeping our bodies healthy and working properly. Exercise also helps to cheer up our brain and help us feel better.
