This week, it was Year 5's turn to lead the school and parents in a time of prayer. The children helped us to reflect on what Jesus wanted his followers to learn when he washed his disciples' feet. We thought about how we can serve others, just like Jesus did.

Today, Year 5 had a beautiful walk in Williamson Park as part of our Lent fundraising activities for CAFOD. Thank you to everyone who sent in sponsor money.

The staff in Year 5 have been so impressed with the projects the children handed in this week. It is really wonderful to see the children take such pride in both the presentation and content of their work. Well done, Year 5!

Children in Year 5 have  worked well together in groups this week to produce posters about some of the Christian Churches in Lancaster. We found out how much we all have in common, particularly in our commitment to following the teachings and example of Jesus.
