In class we have been learning about the instruments in the orchestra. Mr Lowe came to school to talk to us about brass instruments. He brought some instruments for us to look at and listen to. He explained how the instruments worked and let us try to play them. It was good fun

Ramon built this fabulous volcano at home. He brought it into school and erupted it for use using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. It was amazing. Well done Ramon!

This afternoon, Father Andrew led our class in Prayer and Liturgy. We reflected upon the message that the Angel Gabriel gave to Mary; that she would be the mother of Jesus. We recognised that the 'Hail Mary' prayer reminds us of this important event.

Well done to our most inexperienced swimmers.
Today they ALL took the plunge and were swimming in the deep end, well out of their depth. For some non-swimmers, September was their first time in a swimming pool. So to see them bobbing around and having lots of fun in the deepest part of the pool…
