NSPCC visit

Pilkington pottery workshop

We had a wonderful morning learning all about pottery and how the university were creating 3D  images using a 3D scanner. It was fascinating to see real life objects being created into 3D objects. We all designed our own pot with details inspired by Pilkington and did some observational drawing.…

Year 3/4 Visit to White Scar Caves

Year 3 and 4 enjoyed their visit to White Scar Caves today. We saw some amazing rock formation features, including some glowing stalactites in a huge underground cavern and some of us got more than a little wet walking beside an underground waterfall. It certainly was an experience to remember.

A Captivating Castle

More model making from Year 4 who are working really hard on their home learning projects. Today, I have seen a castle that is decorated with spent matches! The detail was fantastic with turrets, drawbridges and casements. Well done!

Year 4 visit to Lancaster Castle

Year 4 had a wonderful visit to Lancaster Castle today. We learnt lots of interesting history about how the castle has been used over the last 900 years and even experienced being locked in the 'dungeons'.

Year 4 descriptive character writing
