In DT this half term, Year 1 are learning about structures and joins. We have learnt three different ways to join cardboard; hole punching and string, slots and tabs. Last week we slotted cardboard together to make a bridge. Today, we used tab joins to create a building front inspired by the architect Zaha Hadid.
