Class of 2027 (Y5)

Year 5 have been learning how to write Haiku. These are a type of Japanese poetry that have seventeen syllables, five in the first line, seven in the second line and five in the final line. We wrote our poems about space as we have been learning about this in science.

Year 5 are really enjoying creating gymnastic sequences with our visiting sports coach. Some of us have achieved things we never thought we could!

Year 5 looked amazing in their Viking costumes. We had a great day learning about all things Viking.

Year 5 have been learning to play netball with Mr Lofthouse. This week we played a class tournament. Mr Lofthouse was particularly pleased with our defensive work.

Today, Y5 have started to learn to draw using two point perspective. We had lots of fun creating city scenes. Watch this space for more of our super art work!
