Year 2 had wonderful day ending our topic of ‘Explorers’ with ‘Space Day’.
All the children took part in their own way; we had astronauts, aliens, solar systems, stars, moons and even a black hole and the sun!

During the day, we did some space writing, completed space exercises and made our own moon buggies, which had to include wheels and axles so the buggy could make a ‘moon landing’.
The children and grown ups had a fabulous day and won’t forget it in a long time.
