To give Year 6 a treat after their Bushtucker Trials, we all enjoyed testing, comparing, designing and making our own chocolate bars!

As you can see, everybody was very busy making their perfect treats!

Year 6 tested their Survival Skills on Wednesday - taking a brilliant Bushtucker Trial - with snails, crickets, brussels sprouts and cockles  all to taste, it went down a real treat!

Year 6 have been working hard all week learning the roles of the various different organs in the human body!

Do you know what your large intestines do? What connects to your liver? Where your heart joins your blood vessels? Well Year 6 do!

Proud day in Year 6 today as we received our Bikeability certificates after passing our Level 1 and Level 2 course.

Are you a good communicator?  Well, Year 6 explored if they were this week! Eyes meeting, body language positive and without fiddling - wew could do it all!

Mrs Holt and Year 6 represented our school at Miss Whalley's Field on Friday for a Remembrance Day Service.  They read beautifully, laid a home-made poppy wreath and observed a 2 minute silence.

Our year 2 class have been sharing their learning with the whole school and their families. Today we explained to everyone about the importance of signs and symbols in every day life. We also talked about the use of symbols in the sacraments including symbols of water, oil, white garments and…

Year 6 put their helmets on and got on their bikes for some serious cycle skills!

Year 6 eased into the new half-term by enjoying a cuppa and a good read.

Dan Lofthouse is working with Y2 this half term developing our gymnastic skills. He is a PE expert who knows how to keep us active and teach us how to safely learn the gymnastic skills required at KS1. We love our PE sessions!

Inspired by their recent zoo trip, Year 6 held an amazing animal exhibition to showcase their crazy creations. What a talented bunch they are!

Year 6 had a real blast last week at Blackpool Zoo. We met the elephants, got up close and personal with the orangutans and chilled with the camels!
