Today, everyone enjoyed celebrating the feast day of St Peter who is our parish and school patronal saint. In the morning, Reception and Key Stage 1 children joined Father Steve in the Cathedral for a liturgy of the word where they reflected on the life of St Peter. Key Stage 2 joined the parish for lunchtime Mass at 12:15pm where Father Steve helped us to reflect on what we can learn from the lives of St Peter and St Paul. After lunch, everyone enjoyed a visit from the ice-cream van. Even the heavy rain shower didn't spoil our fun - look at the photos below! All classes have also been creating some artwork linked to different times in the life of St Peter - this will be going on display in the Cathedral next week.
