October is Black History Month here in the UK. Each of the classes have taken this opportunity to learn about and honour the too-often unrecognised accomplishments of Black Britons. 

The children have learnt about a range of influential Black Britons such as Mary Seacole and Benjamin Zephaniah, looking at their lives, the racism they have experienced and the impact they have had on UK culture.
