Year 3 have been learning about the artist LS Lowry. Today we have started to work on our own pictures in the style of Lowry. We have used the photographs we took on our local area walk as our inspiration. Even Mrs Lowe had a go! Watch this space for our finished pictures.

Year 3 had a great time this afternoon learning how to build shelters and use flints to light fires. Greg, who ran the workshop was particularly impressed by the classes teamwork and imagination.
 

Year 3 have worked really hard in maths today, solving place value problems.

We have had an excellent start of term in Year 3. Yesterday was Healthy Heads Day in school. We did workshops on resilience, mindfulness, yoga and thinking skills. We really enjoyed our day. Our favourite workshop was the yoga.
